Manager, Corporate Development (Renewables)

A well-capitalised utility‑scale renewable energy developer is hiring a Finance & Development Manager to sit at the centre of its Development and Finance teams. This is a bridge role. You will be the connective tissue between the people building projects in the field and the people underwriting them making sure development reality (interconnection position, permitting status, land control, offtake progress) flows accurately into the financial models, forecasts, and investment committee materials that drive executive decisions. It suits someone who is genuinely bilingual: comfortable in a project finance model and fluent in how a utility‑scale project actually gets developed. You will not be siloed on one side. What you'll do Act as the primary link between Development and Finance, running project review cadence and keeping both teams aligned on status, assumptions, risks, and financial impact. Translate development milestones and risks into financial implications and make sure model assumptions reflect what is actually happening on the ground. Support portfolio‑level forecasting of development spend, milestones, and capital needs. Prepare project summaries, IC materials, and executive reporting. Coordinate due diligence across finance, development, legal, engineering, and commercial teams on acquisitions, financings, and JV activity. What we're looking for 5+ years across renewable energy development, project finance, project management, or investment analysis. A working understanding of how utility‑scale projects develop permitting, interconnection, land, commercialisation. Strong financial modelling and the ability to translate complex technical and financial detail for very different audiences. Excellent stakeholder management, this role lives or dies on credibility with both sides of the house. Bachelor's in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Nice to have Direct experience in utility‑scale solar, wind, storage, or hybrid. Exposure to investment committees, capital planning, or project financing.
