Sr. Delivery Solution Architect

Salary: $99,100 - 132,100 per year Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically 8+ years of relevant experience, including substantial background in solution architecture, data architecture, analytics architecture, cloud architecture, or technology consulting.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms, analytics solutions, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong working knowledge of Azure cloud services, especially data and analytics offerings.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Lakehouse architectures, Delta Lake, and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Experience with data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses, data governance, and large-scale data ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data architecture principles, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data integration patterns.
• Experience creating secure data solutions using RBAC, governance, privacy, and compliance controls.
• Strong grasp of APIs, event-driven architecture, microservices, and integration frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting to executive audiences.
• Preferred: experience supporting AI/ML, advanced analytics, and data modernization initiatives.
• Preferred: experience with Databricks Lakehouse Platform, Delta Live Tables (DLT), Unity Catalog, and PySpark.
• Preferred: familiarity with healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution, supply chain, or other regulated industries.
• Preferred: experience leading enterprise data transformation and cloud migration efforts.

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise data, analytics, integration, and cloud solutions.
• Convert business strategies and requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable data platform architectures.
• Create target-state architectures, solution blueprints, reference patterns, and implementation roadmaps.
• Design modern Lakehouse and analytics platforms that support reporting, advanced analytics, AI/ML, data governance, and enterprise data products.
• Define architecture standards, design principles, data modeling frameworks, and governance practices to promote consistency across solutions.
• Assess technology options and explain architectural tradeoffs, risks, costs, and business impacts to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, data, and business teams to drive successful solution delivery.
• Establish integration strategies using APIs, event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, and ETL/ELT patterns.
• Design scalable data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption architectures using modern cloud-native technologies.
• Incorporate security, privacy, compliance, resiliency, observability, and operational support requirements into solution designs.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical direction to delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Shape enterprise data and analytics roadmaps through thought leadership and technical expertise.
• Mentor team members and provide architectural guidance across multiple projects and workstreams.
