Description

NextGen Hospitality Solutions is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Manager to lead our high-volume scratch kitchen in Hoover. This full-time, on-site position is perfect for an experienced culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences.

As a Kitchen Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing kitchen operations, managing a talented team, and ensuring that our food quality meets the highest standards. Your leadership will drive efficiency and creativity as you collaborate with other departments to implement innovative menus and enhance customer satisfaction.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $70,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth in the thriving restaurant industry.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations and staff management
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Plan and execute menus, ensuring quality and presentation
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff
Foster a positive work environment and team culture
Monitor kitchen performance and implement process improvements
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to enhance customer experiences

Requirements

5+ years of experience in a culinary management role
Strong knowledge of recipe development and menu planning
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in kitchen equipment and best practices
Experience with budgeting and cost control measures
Certification in food safety and hygiene standards
