Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab (Travel)

Location: Rancho Mirage, CA 92270 Duration: 2 Months+

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The RN will collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care. The ideal candidate will have recent Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Cath Lab patients throughout the continuum of care.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, documenting findings accurately.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after cardiac procedures.
• Interpret laboratory results, physical assessments, and patient responses to interventions.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of acute care Registered Nurse experience
• Recent Cath Lab nursing experience is required
• Experience monitoring patients during cardiac catheterization procedures

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Candidates enrolled in an RN-to-BSN or RN-to-MSN program within one year of hire and completing within five years may also be considered per organizational policy.

Required Licensure & Certifications:

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
