Customer Service Representative

*Position Overview* Eastman is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused *Customer Support & Order Management Associate* to join our Performance Films team. This role is responsible for coordinating key activities that support sales, service, and distribution operations for our domestic customers.
This is a high-visibility position that plays a critical role during our busy season. Strong performers may have opportunities to transition into full-time roles within other areas of the organization after peak season.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Manage the full lifecycle of customer purchase orders, including order entry, processing, and invoicing
* Respond to customer requests, inquiries, and complaints in a timely, professional manner
* Analyze and manage inventory levels throughout the distribution network
* Collect, review, and enter customer forecast data into SAP
* Collaborate closely with Sales, Demand Planning, and Logistics teams to support customer needs
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and reporting data
* Build and maintain strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders
* Coordinate with third-party warehouse partners to track shipments and communicate delivery updates or delays
* Monitor and proactively communicate shipment statuses to customers
* Support team members and provide backup coverage when needed
* Work primarily via email communication, with limited phone interactions (queue-based support)
*Required Skills & Qualifications*
* Bachelor's degree required (Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred)
* Strong customer service and customer support experience
* Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
* Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word required)
*Preferred Qualifications*
* 1-2 years of experience in sales support, customer service (including retail or restaurant), supply chain, or manufacturing environments
* Experience with SAP and/or Salesforce (preferred but not required; training provided)
