CNC Machine Operator (All Shifts Available!)

Sumitomo Electric Carbide Manufacturing specializes in the manufacturing of high-performance carbide cutting tools. We are looking for CNC Machine Operators to join our growing team. 

Any experience working with Walter, Waida, Wire EDM, Fanuc, Sodick, or ANCA is a plus!

Job Duties:

Operate CNC machines and make offset adjustments

Learn how to setup CNC machines

Identify and use the correct tools while maintaining tight measurements and tolerances

Follow detailed instructions and operating procedures

Install/change tools and correctly position materials in the CNC machines

Adjust machine settings and fixtures to ensure the part meets requirements

Use precision measuring equipment to inspect finished parts

Read part drawings/blue prints

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills

Ability to lift 25 pounds

Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions

Experience with G&M Code is a plus but not required

Candidates with previous experience operation CNC grinding equipment (Walter, Waida, Wire EDM, Fanuc, Sodick, ANCA) is a plus but not required
