Maintenance Coordinator

Responsibilities Maintains production and quality requirements by performing troubleshooting, installation, routine maintenance and repair of mechanical manufacturing equipment. Places daily parts orders. Stocks and posts incoming orders. Assists maintenance manager in processing weekly stock orders. Notifies appropriate parties when special-order parts arrive. Assists maintenance manager with inventory. Compiles stock control reports such as consumption rate and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment. Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock or determine if part can be rebuilt. Assist the maintenance team in keeping accurate inventory and labeling locations to make sure like parts are kept together. Interpret diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Travel to external suppliers to retrieve parts. Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements HS Degree or GED 1-2 years experience in industrial maintenance Industrial maintenance certification preferred Ability to work independently of others (with limited supervision), as well as with a team to resolve issues. Ability to communicate in English Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred Physical Requirements and Working Conditions May be required to lift up to approximately 50 pounds Must be able to stand at work station for a long period of time Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions Equal Employment Opportunity Parker is an Equal Opportunity and Affiantive Action Employer.
