Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS certifications with a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 32+ bed Emergency Department at a hospital facility
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation required, 4 shifts per schedule
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Greater than 2 years of experience preferred
• Experience with procedures such as LP, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting preferred
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care to patients requiring procedures including LP, intubations, TNK, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
• Team includes CNCs, RNs, Medics, and PCTs across all shifts
• Ideal candidates are strong team players who anticipate patient and department needs
• Scrub color required is Navy Blue with Navy Blue zip-up sweater; pullover sweatshirts are not acceptable
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• No local candidates will be considered
