Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner – Business Intelligence, Reports & DashboardsThe ideal candidate should be a senior Business Analyst / Product Owner with strong experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, dashboards, and requirements ownership. This role is not just a standard BA position; it requires someone who can own the reporting workstream end-to-end, work independently, and engage confidently with both business and technical stakeholders. At a minimum, the candidate should have experience with:Business Intelligence, reports, and dashboards Understanding reporting intake, report design, dashboard structure, KPIs, filters, drilldowns, exports, and operational reporting needs.Familiarity with Power BI capabilities and limitations, even if they are not the hands-on developer.Ability to create or guide report mockups, templates, and report specifications that developers can build from.Requirements and product ownership Strong requirements analysis and elicitation skills.Ability to write clear features, user stories, acceptance criteria, clarifications, and design notes.Experience managing backlog prioritization and coordinating across dependencies.Ability to identify gaps, ambiguities, ownership issues, and development impacts before they become delivery risks.Stakeholder and meeting leadership Comfortable leading meetings, demos, discovery sessions, and requirement review discussions.Able to communicate with management, operations, business teams, developers, SQL architects, QA, and external client stakeholders.Strong enough presence to drive alignment, ask the right questions, and keep work moving without needing constant direction.Technical collaboration Ability to work closely with junior Power BI/report developers and guide them from a business and functional perspective.Ability to collaborate with SQL architects and technical teams on data availability, report logic, source mapping, and development feasibility.Comfortable translating operational requirements into structured reporting designs.Tolling or transportation industry experience Tolling experience would be highly preferred. Reporting in this environment requires understanding the broader operational flow, since the person has to report on multiple business areas and understand the meaning behind the data.If tolling experience is not available, the person should at least have experience in a complex operational, transaction-heavy, or transportation-related environment.Preferred background:BI / Reporting Product OwnerSenior Business Analyst with Power BI reporting experienceTolling / transportation / transaction processing experienceStrong stakeholder-facing and documentation skillsComfortable working with SQL architects, developers, QA, operations, and client teams
