Inventory Control Clerk-2nd Shift -$19.75/hr

Salary range: $12.90 – $21.20. Position Purpose Perform cycle counts and resolve inventory problems as they arise. Maintain accuracy of the Warehouse Librarian computer database. Most tasks follow a general operating procedure, with questions referred to a supervisor. Essential Job Functions Use Excel to create complex documents and reports. Type correspondence and documents using MS Office, Outlook and Word. Enter data via 10‑key by touch efficiently. Operate equipment such as cherry pickers. Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all contacts inside and outside the company. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct inventory cycle counts and adjusted stock counts to ensure accuracy with which supplies are stocked. Run daily inventory, productivity and analysis reports for distribution among management staff. Communicate cycle count discrepancies to appropriate supervisors and ensure errors are addressed. Maintain the Warehouse Librarian database and use it to research and locate merchandise by product and SKU numbers. Observe and promote safety procedures and maintain a clean warehouse environment. Assist in quarterly and annual inventories. Complete special projects as assigned. Supervision Works under general instruction; non‑routine tasks may be assigned with little direct supervision. The position does not generally entail supervising other employees, though occasional functional guidance to others may be required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Basic math proficiency and working knowledge of computer fundamentals. Minimum of one year of distribution clerical experience preferred, including 10‑key by touch and basic office support duties. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers preferred but not required. Work Environment The role is primarily performed indoors in a warehouse environment with exposure to heat, cold, dirt, dust, fumes and noise. Work duties are almost exclusively performed on site, where minor injury risk may exist due to warehouse conditions.
