Job Summary:

Perform a variety of functions related to the Bank's deposit operations area. Provides the highest level customer service, and adheres to the Bank's Core Values and Service Promise.

Essential Functions:

• Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to all customers.
• Mail daily customer letters and notices.
• Daily review of numerous Image Centre reports ex) Pending Accounts, Account Title Integrity, Stop Payments including Stop Suspects, Closed Account Reports, etc.
• Deposit Account and RMS maintenance.
• Verify the accuracy of computer input and receipt of required documents for all maintenance activities and new checking, savings, and certificate of deposit accounts.
• Ensure we obtain a signature card on all opened accounts and sends a 10-day letter on cards not received.
• Administers IntraFi, and DDM product set-up, processing and statement distribution.
• Reviews daily IRA/HSA Reports to ensure accurate maintenance and transaction reporting.
• Process setup of annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) transactions.
• IRA maintenance on the system.
• Daily review of Savings Bond Redemption
• Review daily Corporate Repurchase Agreement notices for accuracy before sending to customers.
• Process requests made to the Bank for deposit verification including requests from Social Security.
• Processing of emailed/faxed Mortuary Trust transfers.
• Update and review of Interest Rate changes on Horizon
• Processes the workflow tasks for all legal processes such as levies, subpoenas, writs of execution, summons to trustee, etc according to Bank procedures.
• Perform research requests pertaining to deposit accounts as they are presented to the Bank by customers, the IRS, the courts, or other agencies.
• Responsible for maintaining the Bank's deposit account portfolio database on Image Centre.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Bank's products and services.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of and ensures the compliance with Federal and State banking regulations and adheres to Bank policies and procedures.
• Oversee operations regarding safe deposit boxes including, but not limited to, billing/auto transfers for rentals, ensuring stores are drilling boxes when necessary, checking new contracts for accuracy.
• Logs and distributes returned mail in accordance with the Bank's Red Flags Procedures.
• Observe safety and security procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Skills, Experience, and Training Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a financial institution; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Accuracy and the ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable.
• Frequently uses a computer with freedom of movement on a regular basis.
• Handling of moderately heavy materials (up to 20 pounds).
