Support Lead Part Time

Store Manager at Five Below is responsible for overseeing all store operations, including customer service, inventory management, and staff training, while ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Responsibilities Ensure all crew members wow customers through personal contact and a fast, friendly checkout experience. Oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service. Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to quickly and efficiently place items on the sales floor. Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and addressing any urgent issues. Manage the entire process of opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring everything is in place for smooth daily operation. Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates, helping them learn store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures. Drive store sales and control expenses by boosting sales through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service. Partner with the store leadership team in merchandising procedures and World Recovery. Perform store maintenance tasks such as taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room. Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred. Minimum 1 year of management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi‑task, think creatively, and maintain composure under pressure. Essential Job Functions Frequently operate cash register. Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places or removes merchandise up to 5–10 feet. Frequently ascend or descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock. Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor. Frequently communicate with customers face‑to‑face and over the telephone, exchanging accurate information. Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers and to and from the stock room. Work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts and travel as required. Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures. Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
