Industrial Maintenance Technician - All Shifts - Omaha, NE

Position Summary This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The Maintenance Mechanic position has responsibilities to maintain, troubleshoot and repair a variety of electromechanical equipment in a food processing environment. Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting and repair, and provide technical support for all phases of the operation Understand technical and training manuals Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and record data Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements Proficiency in multiple skill clusters: basic electrical, electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, welding, fabrication, and manufacturing processes Strong communication skills Perform general housekeeping duties in the department Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor Perform all rotations, if applicable Physical Requirements The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
