Day in the life

Start your shift ready to keep a high-output manufacturing operation running smoothly. You’ll move from an electrical fault on a packaging line to an Allen Bradley PLC diagnostic on a molding press, then stabilize a hydraulic circuit before mentoring a junior tech through a pneumatic check. Every decision you make protects uptime, quality, and safety.

What you’ll tackle

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues across production assets
• Perform PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley) to resolve machine faults and optimize performance
• Service, maintain, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment
• Execute major equipment repairs and operate machine tools as needed
• Coach and mentor junior technicians to build team capability
• Champion safety procedures and quality standards on every job

Equipment you’ll support

• Injection molding machines: HPM, Van Dorn, Niigata, Krause, Cincinnati
• Blow mold extrusion machines
• Packaging machinery
• Cooling systems
• Powder coat systems

Shift schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (6 days per week)
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM (6 days per week)
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM (6 days per week)

What you bring

• 5+ years in industrial equipment maintenance with strong hydraulics experience
• Hands-on skill across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Background with injection or blow molding equipment (preferred)
• Comfort with microprocessor-controlled machinery
• Clear communicator with a proactive, ownership mindset
• Proficiency in hydraulics
