Communications & Marketing Coordinator (Casual/Seasonal)

State of Delaware – Division for the Visually Impaired (DVI)

Location: Herman Holloway Campus, 1901 N. Dupont Highway, New Castle, DE 19720
Employment Type: Casual/Seasonal (Part-Time)

Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Monday-Friday)
Pay Rate: $21.79 per hour
Schedule: Up to 29.75 hours per week

What You'll Do

As a Communications & Marketing Coordinator, you will help lead and support the Division's communications and outreach efforts by:

• Assisting with communications, marketing, outreach, and event planning initiatives.
• Supporting communications staff and helping coordinate projects and assignments.
• Creating engaging content for social media platforms, YouTube, podcasts, newsletters, and other digital communication channels.
• Promoting DVI programs, training opportunities, and consumer success stories through creative marketing strategies.
• Collaborating with the DVI Leadership Team to develop and implement communication plans and strategic initiatives.
• Building relationships with state agencies, community organizations, and stakeholders to increase awareness of DVI services.
• Assisting with public events, presentations, outreach activities, and community engagement efforts.
• Monitoring communication campaigns and recommending opportunities to improve engagement and outreach.
