A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Referral Coordinator to support the coordination of patient referrals to specialty providers, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient referrals to specialists and external providers

• Review referral requests to ensure medical necessity and proper documentation

• Prepare and submit referral documentation, including medical records

• Prioritize urgent requests and manage referral timelines

• Communicate with patients, providers, and internal teams regarding referral status

• Maintain accurate referral logs and reporting

• Assist with resolving referral issues and escalations

Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• Previous medical office or healthcare administration experience preferred

• Familiarity with referral processes, insurance, or healthcare systems is a plus

Skills:
