Overhead Crane Operator

Position: Overhead Crane Operator
Pay: $20.00
Shift: 2nd shift / 1:30pm-10:30pm
Location: Peotone, IL
- Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently to load and unload materials
- Use saws and torch equipment for cutting steel according to job specifications
- Inspect and maintain equipment, including cranes and saws, completing inspection reports
- Record accurate details on paperwork, including material info and order changes
- Restock materials and ensure proper labeling and placement in warehouse
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating dual hoist cranes (10 tons or above)
- Proven saw operation skills for cutting steel and materials
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Capable of working outdoors and in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety and detail in equipment handling
- Overhead crane operation (dual hoist, 10+ tons)
- Saw operation and torch cutting
- Material handling and inventory management
- Equipment inspection and safety procedures
- Use of banding and measurement tools
