Job Title: Lamination Technician

Job Description

The Lamination Technician works in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment to produce high-quality composite parts using pre-preg lamination techniques and strict cleanroom standards. This role reads and follows detailed manufacturing and inspection procedures, prepares molds and tools, performs composite layup and vacuum bagging, inspects finished products for conformance to specifications, and completes all required documentation while maintaining a strong focus on safety and zero defects.

Essential Skills

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow Manufacturing and Inspection Procedures (MIPs), work orders, and drawings.
• Hands-on experience with inspection activities to ensure product conformance to specifications.
• Proficiency using hand tools for sanding, trimming, assembly, and finishing of composite materials.
• Experience working in a cleanroom or similarly controlled environment.
• Ability to perform basic math to calculate, weigh, mix, and catalyze resins and related materials.
• Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and zero defects.
• Understanding and adherence to OSHA regulations for handling composite materials, adhesives, sealants, resins, and solvents.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, SC.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
