Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM | Friday 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM

• Position Overview We are seeking an experienced professional for an Accounting position supporting a growing construction company in Oklahoma City. This Accounting role will manage full-cycle accounting functions including job cost tracking, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate for this Accounting opportunity has a strong background in construction accounting and understands project-based financial operations. This is an in-office Accounting position.
• Required Experience & Skills
- Previous construction accounting experience required
- Strong understanding of job costing and project-based accounting
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general ledger maintenance
- Maintain and track job costing and project-related financial data
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial statements
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial reports and support budget tracking
- Review invoices, subcontractor payments, and lien waivers for accuracy
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Collaborate with project managers and leadership to support construction project financial tracking
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience required
- Construction industry accounting experience strongly preferred
