If you want to be part of tomorrow's health today, we want to hear from you.The Sr. Accounting Manager, Bank and Cash reports to the Sr. Director, Accounting Operations and serves as a highly visible strategic individual contributor within McKesson's Accounting, Reporting, and Compliance (ARC) organization. This role is responsible for accounting operations supporting Bank and Cash, including cash accounting, bank reconciliations, cash matching, debt-related accounting support, and related close activities, while also driving process transformation, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.The position provides oversight and support to the Virtual Team by reviewing work, managing escalations, analyzing exceptions, and driving timely resolution of outstanding bank, cash, and reconciliation items. It also supports SOX compliance, internal and external audit requests, and continuous improvement of controls and accounting processes.In addition to period-end close responsibilities, this role will lead and support cross-functional initiatives focused on process redesign, scalable operating models, automation governance, and the adoption of AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance decision-making.As McKesson continues its transformation journey, this role will play a key part in helping evolve Bank and Cash operations from transaction-focused activities toward analytical review, oversight, exception management, and automation stewardship.
