Senior Oil and Gas Accounting Manager/ Supervisor

Senior Accounting Manager, Gas Operations Fortune 500 midstream energy company, 100+ years in business We are seeking an experienced accounting leader to join our gas operations accounting group. This role oversees settlement and operational accounting across gas marketing, gathering, and pipeline and storage activity, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent financial results in a fast-paced commercial environment. You will own end to end accounting processes, maintain a strong control environment, and ensure GAAP compliance while partnering closely with commercial, operations, and financial reporting teams. This is a leadership opportunity for someone who wants to build and develop a high-performing accounting team, drive process improvement through standardization and automation, and serve as a key point of contact for contract interpretation and financial outcomes. You will lead monthly financial results discussions, support audit activity, and play a visible role in strengthening controls across the organization. Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Strong GAAP knowledge and midstream or energy accounting background Experience leading and developing accounting or settlement teams Comfort interpreting complex contracts and pricing terms Public Accounting Background CPA (Manager) Nice to have Experience with ETRM systems such as TIES, Allegro, or RightAngle CPA license, preferred but not required depending on role level Compensation: $82,000 to $185,000 depending on experience and level Hybrid Dallas office, Monday through Thursday in office, Friday remote #J-18808-Ljbffr RemX | The Workforce Experts
