Accounts Payable Clerk (Contract Role)
Location: Warminster, PA (Onsite) Pay: $20$25/hour Schedule: Full-time
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established organization in the construction industry to identify an Accounts Payable Clerk for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can quickly jump in to support a busy AP team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of invoices (approximately 150200 per day) with accuracy and efficiency
- Assist in managing and reducing a backlog of invoices (34 months)
- Support a large vendor base (5,000+ vendors), including handling inquiries and resolving discrepancies
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations and follow up on outstanding balances
- Research and resolve purchase order (PO) and invoice matching issues
- Distribute incoming mail and invoices, ensuring timely routing and processing
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Accounts Payable or high-volume data entry experience
- Experience handling large vendor volumes or working in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
