Billing /Documentation Clerk

LA Health and Rehab Options has an opening for a Billing and Documentation Clerk. We are looking for a highly motivated person with prior experience in medical billing. This position interface regularly with the leadership of the organization and report to the Executive Director. Essential Functions:Knowledge of medical billing/ collections practicesKnowledge of electronic billingKnowledge of business office procedures and etiquette.Knowledge of basic medical coding and third party operating procedures and practicesAbility to operate a computer and basic office equipment.Skill in answering a telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner.Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructionsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients ,employees, vendors, and the general public.Must be well organized and detail-oriented.Education and ExperienceHigh School DiplomaMinimum 2 year of experienceStrong communication and customer services skills
