About This Role The Registered Nurse 2 in Pediatric General Care at Strong Memorial Hospital is responsible for providing competent direct patient care and supporting unit activities. Highlights Pay: $38.76 - $50.39/hour Location: Rochester, NY Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital Department/Unit: 8 North-Peds Nursing Schedule: Full-time, Rotating shifts What You'll Do Provide competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contribute to unit activities and support enhancement of the care delivery system. Support peers in the delivery of patient care services. Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member. Care for pediatric patients with neurologic and cardiac disorders, burns, and complex care needs. Obtain telemetry and PALS certification within one year. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care. Commit to patient and family-centered care. Requirements Education: Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program required. Experience: Pediatric and/or acute care experience preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Active New York State RN license in good standing required.
