Business Development Manager

Compensation $100K–$130K Base + Bonus + Fund Carry About the Opportunity Our client is a growth‑capital investment firm that partners with major media companies to provide strategic investment to growth‑stage consumer brands in exchange for equity, using media assets as the core value driver. The firm sits at the intersection of venture investing, media, and strategic partnerships, and is expanding its network of media partners. Key Responsibilities Develop strategic relationships with senior executives across publishers, broadcasters, CTV, FAST, OOH/DOOH, and digital media organizations Identify and secure new media partners while expanding the firm's network of media capital investors Act as a market-facing ambassador for the firm through executive meetings, conferences, and industry events Collaborate with senior leadership to structure media-for-equity investment partnerships for high-growth consumer brands Maintain and expand relationships with existing media partners Monitor media industry trends, M&A activity, and emerging partnership opportunities Collaborate cross-functionally with investment, legal, and communications teams throughout the partnership lifecycle Ideal Background Approximately 5+ years of experience in: Publisher Partnerships, Strategic Partnerships, Business Development, Corporate Development, Media Strategy, or Strategic Alliances Experience working with or selling into: Digital Publishers, Broadcasters, CTV, Programmatic Advertising, AdTech, OOH/DOOH, or Media Platforms The Ideal Candidate Existing network within the media ecosystem Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills Hunter mentality with a track record of business development success Commercially sophisticated, comfortable discussing partnership economics Strong presentation and storytelling skills Entrepreneurial and self-motivated Why This Opportunity Join an early mover in the media-for-equity investment space, working directly with founders and senior leadership Build partnerships with many of the largest media organizations in the country Blend venture capital, media, and strategic partnerships into one role Competitive compensation, bonus, and participation in fund carry #J-18808-Ljbffr AC Lion Digital Executive Search
