Accounts Receivable Clerk

Role Overview We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Receivable Processor II to join our Total Rewards Operations Support Team. In this critical support role, you will be responsible for providing specialized financial and clerical assistance, ensuring the accurate processing of benefit payments, and maintaining strict compliance with departmental controls. This is a fully onsite position ideal for a self-starter who thrives in managing fluctuating workloads and supporting cross-functional financial workflows. Key Responsibilities Payment Processing: Process daily workers’ compensation benefit payments accurately and efficiently. Payroll Coordination: Manage and coordinate weekly payroll communications regarding short-term disability and extended sick leave payments. Reconciliation & Account Management: Complete daily bank account management and reconciliation activities in strict accordance with internal departmental controls. Budgeting & Contract Support: Assist with departmental budgets, contract maintenance, affiliate budgeting, and chargeback activities specifically related to workers’ compensation and disability management operations. Operational Support: Provide backup coverage to maintain efficient workflows, support special projects, and offer functional guidance or training to clerical support staff as needed. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent education/experience. 1+ year of recent, relevant experience in accounting, accounts receivable, payroll, benefits payment, or financial clerical roles. Proven accounting, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Demonstrated experience processing financial transactions and reconciling bank accounts. Proficiency in standard office applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email platforms. strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage changing deadlines and fluctuating workloads. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an onsite environment.  

salary: $25.59 - $25.6 per hour
