What You'll Do
Reviews vendor invoices and management check requests – matches vendor invoices with supporting documents
Codes invoices and check requests with proper account distribution
Enters vendor invoices and check requests into the system to set up payment
Generates unpaid register for review by management
Prepares and processes accounts payable checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments based on management’s selection from the unpaid register
Reconciles vendor accounts as needed
Carries out payables analysis and other reporting activities as requested and according to specific deadlines
Monitors accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Resolved invoice discrepancies
Maintains unpaid and paid vendor files
Corresponds with vendors and responds to inquiries
What You'll Bring
1-3 years of accounts payable and general accounting experience is required
Must have knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
Must be proficient with MS Office software (particularly MS Excel) and be familiar with Peachtree
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Must be able to troubleshoot
Must be able to handle confident information in a secure manner
