Under the general direction of the CHSA II/Chief Psychiatrist/Chief of Mental Health/Chief Psychologist/Sr. Psychologist and direct supervision of the OSS II, the Office Technician (T) is responsible for confidential and administrative functions related to compliance with federal, state, and local agencies. Maintain and update the Mental Health Tracking System (MHTS). Coordinate program activities and collaborate with institutional staff, public, department, and external agencies. Respond to inquiries and refer directives to appropriate subordinate staff. Perform other related clerical duties as required. Minimum Qualifications One year of California state service performing clerical duties at a responsibility level equivalent to an Office Assistant, Range B. OR two years of typing and clerical work, with academic education above the twelfth grade substitutable for experience as outlined. To be eligible for the Office Technician (Typing) position, applicants must first take and pass the CalCareers examination.
