Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with 8+ years of experience in BESS/EV battery manufacturing, module assembly, and automated end-of-line (EOL) test systems.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• BS in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.

• Hands-on experience with EV/BESS battery module assembly, cell-sorting automation, or automated functional test fixtures.

• Strong knowledge of 4-wire Kelvin resistance measurements for busbar weld quality.

• Experience with CAN, CANalyzer/CAN analysis tools, Modbus, and BMS flashing/verification.

• Design mechanical fixtures using SolidWorks/Inventor and develop electrical/wiring layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.

• Design pneumatic/mechanical fixtures for pogo pins and high-current module connections.

• Develop LV signal and 48 150V DC module charging/discharging schematics.

• Integrate DMMs, OCV testers, AC resistance meters, and DC test equipment.

• Experience with gauge R&R, tester data traceability, and serial-number tracking.

• Hands-on experience with high-voltage modules, pneumatic actuators, wire harnesses, and custom connectors.

• Strong understanding of lithium-ion battery hazards, damaged-module handling, and fire-suppression procedures.

• Knowledge of UN 38.3, UL 1973, and IEC 62619 compliance.

• Optimize test cycle times and cell-balancing/testing architectures for high-volume manufacturing.

• Troubleshoot electromechanical failures, weld defects, and test-equipment/component issues.

Preferred Profile: Strong hands-on manufacturing/test engineering background with practical experience taking BESS module EOL testers from fixture design and electrical integration through production deployment and troubleshooting.
