Certified Respiratory Therapist ($15k Sign-On Bonus)

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Earn $1,206 – $1,623 per week (3 shifts per month). Work nights as a full‑time, non‑exempt employee. Base pay ranges from $33.50 to $45.09 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials. Location: Chicago Metro Area, Illinois. Sign‑On Bonus: $15,000.00 (eligible candidates; terms applied). Responsibilities In the absence of a supervisor, serve as Lead RCP and oversee operations during the shift. Provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician orders. Manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management. Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis. Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessments. Implement patient‑specific care plans. Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Respond to critical care situations and emergencies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Qualifications State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Two years of experience as an RCP preferred. ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current. NRP certificate preferred. PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current. Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
