Lead Site Reliability Engineer - Corporate KYC

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Have formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least five years of applied experience.
• Bring deep expertise in site reliability practices, including reliability, scalability, performance, security, enterprise architecture, and toil reduction, and be able to apply them to applications or platforms.
• Be fluent in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java with Spring Boot, or .NET.
• Have practical experience using enterprise-authorized AI tools to improve SRE workflows, with careful validation and awareness of data sensitivity.
• Be able to assess AI-generated operational recommendations for accuracy and risk, establish usage guardrails, and ensure work meets resilience and security expectations.
• Have strong knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with depth in at least one technical discipline.
• Be experienced with observability, including white- and black-box monitoring, SLO alerting, and telemetry tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Be proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform.
• Have experience with containers and orchestration platforms such as ECS, Kubernetes, or Docker, as well as troubleshooting common technologies and issues.
• Be able to teach programming languages to teammates and collaborate across stakeholder groups and organizational levels.

• Lead resiliency design reviews, break complex problems into manageable engineering work, serve as technical lead for medium-to-large products, and mentor fellow engineers.
• Champion site reliability culture and practices, influencing technical decisions across the team.
• Lead data-informed initiatives to improve application and platform reliability, stability, and service levels.
• Work with colleagues to define meaningful service level indicators and partner with stakeholders and customers to set appropriate objectives and error budgets.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support major-incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis; validate results and handle operational data in line with security and sensitivity requirements.
• Promote reuse-first AI-assisted reliability workflows across software development and toolchain practices, including CI/CD checks, test automation, and operational readiness, while maintaining traceability, resilience, and security controls.
• Apply technical expertise to identify and resolve technology bottlenecks within areas of specialization.
• Serve as the primary contact for major incidents affecting your application and resolve issues promptly to help prevent financial losses.
• Document and share knowledge through internal forums and communities of practice.
