Human Resources Generalist Location: Jacksonville, FL (Onsite) Salary: $60,000-$65,000 DOE Join a Growing Operations Team A leading organization in the logistics and supply chain industry is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a busy distribution center in the Jacksonville area. This is a highly visible, hands‑on HR role supporting both frontline hourly employees and salaried leaders in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with operations, enjoys being a trusted resource for employees and managers, and has previous HR experience supporting distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, transportation or another labor‑intensive operational environment. What You’ll Do As the onsite HR Generalist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle while partnering closely with operations leadership to create a positive, compliant, and engaged workplace. Responsibilities Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and managers within an onsite distribution center. Build strong relationships with frontline associates and operational leadership. Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and HR best practices. Assist with employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and partner with leadership on appropriate resolutions. Support performance management by coaching managers on documentation, corrective actions, and employee development. Partner with Recruiting to support hiring efforts, workforce planning, and staffing initiatives. Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure a positive new hire experience. Process HRIS transactions, employee changes, and maintain accurate personnel records. Resolve payroll‑related questions and discrepancies. Support annual HR initiatives including performance reviews, merit increases, open enrollment, and employee engagement programs. Create and analyze HR reports to identify workforce trends and support business decisions. Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience in a dedicated HR role. Must have HR experience supporting a logistics, distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, transportation, or other high‑volume operational environment. Experience supporting both hourly labor employees and salaried managers is required. Previous experience handling employee relations issues and workplace investigations. Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and performance management. Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday or UKG is preferred. Preferred Experience We’re looking for someone who enjoys working where the action is‑not behind a desk all day. The ideal candidate has experience supporting a large warehouse, fulfillment center, manufacturing facility, or distribution center and understands the unique HR challenges of a labor‑intensive operation.
