Line Cook
Line Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to Parry's recipes, standards, and ticket-time expectations. This role requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with the BOH team to keep service running smoothly.
Line Cooks play a direct role in food quality, guest satisfaction, and overall shift success.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items by following recipes and spec standards
- Execute orders accurately and within expected ticket times
- Understand portion sizes, taste profiles, and visual presentation expectations
- Label, date, and store all food items properly
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift
- Follow all food safety and sanitation practices consistently
- Communicate clearly with teammates during high-volume service
- Support BOH flow by assisting with dishes, cleanup, and prep as needed
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency

- Label, date, and store all food items correctly

- Consistently comply with food safety and sanitation practices
- Communicate clearly with the team during high-volume service
- Support BOH flow by helping with cleaning, dishwashing, and preparation as needed
- Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality or consistency
Qualifications + Skills
- BOH restaurant experience (minimum 1 year)
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed
- Reliable, professional, and focused under pressure
- Willingness to learn, take coaching, and grow within the role
