Responsible Sourcing Coordinator - Remote

The Responsible Sourcing Coordinator plays a critical role in helping the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Team uphold HFT's Supplier Code of Conduct commitments, including human rights, among HFT's manufacturing partners. The Responsible Sourcing Coordinator is expected to stay informed about industry trends that will impact HFT's supply chain risk through self-initiated research, reading, and industry involvement. The Specialist will also support the screening of new and existing vendors, suppliers, and supply chain partners to help ensure they are not connected to money laundering, human trafficking, bribery, terrorist activities, or other unethical business practices.The Coordinator will assist in the collection for raw materials traceability and chain of custody research; this portion of the role is expected to grow as international governing bodies regulators enact more legislation about transparency in the supply chain and knowing the origins of products related to supply chain transparency and forced labor prevention in the supply chain. The ideal Coordinator will be a strong relationship-builder and effective communicator across cultures and within all levels of the HFT organization. Must possess an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a passion for human rights, equity, and ethics. Duties and Responsibilities Provide reporting to cross-functional business partners that support Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and CTPAT Programs (supply chain security and trade compliance) for regulatory compliance and promotes transparency Assist with screening new and existing suppliers to identify potential exposure to forced labor, human trafficking, money laundering, bribery, corruption, sanctions violations, and other compliance risks. Maintain supplier risk profiles and support ongoing monitoring activities by tracking adverse media, supplier updates, and compliance-related information. Support the administration of supplier risk assessments, including collecting information, maintaining records, and tracking follow-up actions. Assist with maintaining product-specific supply chain maps and traceability information from finished goods to raw material origin. Support traceability verification efforts by collecting, organizing, and reviewing supplier documentation, production records, and sourcing information. Help identify supply chain visibility gaps and coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to obtain additional information and improve transparency. Monitor and share updates on emerging regulations and industry developments related to UFLPA, forced labor prevention, supply chain transparency, and responsible sourcing requirements. Scope Staff supervision and development: No Decision making: Minimal, Provides data for decision support Travel: Up to 5% Flex Designation: Anywhere The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,600 – $71,400 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Requirements Education Requirements 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Years of Experience 2+ years experience in responsible sourcing, supply chain compliance, human rights due diligence, supplier risk management, trade compliance, and/or supply chain mapping and traceability role Skills Required – Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with external business partners and with overseas teams Ability to develop and manage large datasets including CSR and supply chain data Advanced proficiency with Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Ability to think broadly, see many sides of a situation, and remain objective Produce deliverables in a timely manner, respond to changing international and domestic regulations, anticipate future problems, and recommend preventive courses of action Ability to develop presentation materials and communications for senior-level meetings as well as factory-level discussions Understanding of supply chain operations and human rights in the hardware retail sector is strongly recommended Adept written and verbal communicator with ability to listen, understand and account for different perspectives, and respond appropriately to varied audiences including external stakeholders and cross-functional partners Positive and team-oriented attitude with proactive approach, strong work ethic, and effective stress management Preferred / Desired– Fluency in a foreign language is a plus (Spanish, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese preferred) Proficiency with Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools. Physical Requirements Corporate - Remote - General office environment requiring ability to: Stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time . Speak and listen to others in person and over the phone and video conferencing. Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports. The ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
