Machine Operator 2

Our client, manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator 2 to join their team. As a Machine Operator 2, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety consciousness, and reliability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator 2

Location: Burgaw, NC

Pay Range: $19.5

Shift: Evenings (40 hour)

What's the Job?

• Operate a variety of simple one-step or one-process machines to produce ventilation or specialty products.
• Ensure the work area is set up for safety and efficient workflow, monitoring quality standards.
• Maintain and inspect equipment for operational efficiency and safety.
• Track production progress and report any issues or downtime.
• Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment as needed.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 months of prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand frequently and move/traverse throughout the shift.
• Capability to lift, carry, and handle materials regularly.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and environmental standards.
