Time Type:Full timeRemote Type:Job Family Group:Human ResourcesJob Description Summary: The Manager, HR Data & Governance is responsible for the governance, integrity, and operational effectiveness of workforce data and core HR business processes supporting over 9,000 U.S. and Canadian associates. This role serves as the business process owner for employee data transactions, leads workforce data governance and quality initiatives, and drives adoption of self-service capabilities across HR, managers, and employees. The position partners closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, HR Technology, and business leaders to optimize processes, improve data quality, support organizational transformations, and ensure workforce data supports informed business decision-making and operational excellence.Job Description:Job Responsibilities:HR Data Governance & IntegrityOversee HR data governance, including data standards, quality controls, audit processes, and compliance requirements.Own management of foundational Workday data, including position management and organizational hierarchy structures.Develop HR data quality metrics, scorecards, and reporting that provide leaders with actionable insights and drive accountability for data quality and process adherence.Ensure data integrity across Workday and downstream systems, including payroll, reporting, compliance, and other enterprise applications.HR Process Ownership & OptimizationServe as Business Process Owner for core HR transactions and related governance activities.Oversee governance and execution of leave status transactions, including leaves of absence, returns from leave, and associated workforce data changes.Partner with HR Business Partners and HR Technology teams to design, optimize, and continuously improve Workday processes.Lead training and change management efforts that promote process adherence and data quality accountability.Organizational Change & Workforce Data ManagementServe as the subject matter expert for workforce data impacts related to organizational transformations, restructurings, and reorganizations.Apply data governance best practices to support accurate and efficient execution of organizational changes while maintaining data integrity.Team LeadershipLead, coach, and develop the HR Data & Governance team through performance management, training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.Establish and implement processes, policies, and procedures that drive first-time-right data execution and operational excellence.Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field and/or equivalent training and work experience5+ years of experience in HR Operations, Workforce Data Management, HR Shared Services, Payroll Operations, or related disciplines with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience. Experience with Workday as an HRIS platformProficient PC skills using MS Office with intermediate Excel skillsDemonstrated experience governing workforce data, HR business processes, or HR technology operations.Experience leading process improvement, transformation, or automation initiativesExperience supporting large-scale organizational changes, workforce restructuring, or enterprise-wide HR initiativesExperience working across HR, Payroll, Finance, and Technology functionsMust be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skillsAbility to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlinesAnalytic and Reporting skillsUtilize sound judgement and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in high-volume environmentPreferred Qualifications:· Advanced excel expertise· PHR/SHRM-CP Certification· Prior experience with SAP HCMPhysical Requirements:· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephoneCompetencies:· Ability to establish data standards, monitor compliance, and drive accountability for workforce data quality· Builds strong relationships across HR, Payroll, Technology, and business leadership teams to influence outcomes and achieve organizational goals· Leads adoption of new processes, technologies, and governance practices through effective change management and stakeholder engagement· Effectively communicates complex workforce data and process concepts to technical and non-technical audiencesThis job description is only a summary of the typical functions of this position, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks and duties. Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000This position is eligible to participate in a bonus program. Metrics and level of participation are determined annually.
