Loss Mitigation Specialist

To reduce foreclosure risk, the full-time remote Loss Mitigation Specialist will evaluate borrower financials, counsel borrowers on sustainable options, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the loss mitigation process. Key responsibilities Review and validate borrower financial packages for accuracy and compliance before underwriting evaluation Process and monitor workout options according to investor guidelines, ensuring adherence to eligibility criteria and timelines Communicate effectively with borrowers and stakeholders to develop tailored workout strategies and report approved solutions Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 3 years of experience in mortgage loss mitigation and related default servicing Knowledge of investor and insurer loss mitigation guidelines preferred Experience with ICE Mortgage Technology platforms, including MSP, LMS, is highly preferred Certification in credit counseling, collections, or mortgage servicing is a plus but not required
