Customer Support Lead

We're an AI-native payroll company. The company is venture-backed, founded by a repeat tech entrepreneur, and growing fast. We're looking for a great customer support lead to own the function from the ground up. It's especially important that they have experience in the payroll industry. You'll be: Solving customer problems — handling support tickets, diagnosing issues, escalating strategically Building systems — designing customer onboarding flows, writing help documentation, creating support playbooks Shaping the product — being the voice of the customer internally, identifying gaps and opportunities Growing the team — eventually hiring and training the next support person This is a doer role. You'll spend your first weeks answering tickets, your first months building docs and automating workflows, and your first year scaling the function. Who you are Musta have: 2+ years of customer support experience at a payroll & benefits company You care about customers and want to build a function, not just execute someone else's playbook Excited about the opportunity to collaborate on new AI systems to automate customer support and operations Why this matters You’ll be an early hire in a team that’s moving fast.
