Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients, including physical examinations and detailed reviews of their medical backgrounds
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting diagnostic imaging and lab results
• Work intimately with surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical care plans
• Provide essential support during surgeries, preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently passing instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably, completion of clinical rotations that emphasize surgical practice

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
