Dogs and Cats Emergency and Specialty (DCES)is actively seeking an experienced internship trained Veterinary ER Doctor or residency trained Veterinary Specialist to join our team as the Medical Director.Located in Prince George's County, Bowie Maryland is ideally situated within the greater Washington, DC metro area, with convenient access to Northern Virginia, Baltimore and Annapolis.Qualifications and Skills:The ideal candidate:Possesses a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, ideally in an Emergency/Specialty hospital and minimum of 1-2 years of leadership experience, preferredValues integrity, exhibits superior communication, displays excellent client service and patient careIs a collaborative leader who will match and embrace DCES’s cultureSchedule:We understand that work-life balance is critical to your well-being. Our growing team seeks a collaborative, friendly, and compassionate professional to provide medical leadership for our hospital, manage associate and lead veterinarians, and assure regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Medical Director is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine is delivered to as many patients as possible in a way that is sustainable and efficient for our medical team.
