The Atlantic Group has partnered with a law firm in the Manhattan area. They have an immediate need for an Accounting Clerk to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.
Job Overview
A boutique law firm in New York City is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk with 1–3 years of experience to join its lean finance function. This role will support the Head of Finance, who currently manages the firm’s financial operations independently. The position will primarily focus on accounts payable support and general accounting responsibilities.
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3-4 days in the office)
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-1–3 years of accounting experience
-Prior law firm experience is preferred
-Exposure to Accounts Payable strongly preferred
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Professional communication and ability to work in a small, fast-paced environment
-Comfortable taking initiative and managing responsibilities independently
