Location & Salary San Jose (Saratoga), CA 1328 Saratoga Ave, San Jose, CA 95129, United States of America. Pay: $18.45 - $19.00 Overview We are looking for a Member Services Representative to join our team! The role is responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. Responsibilities Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service. Handle all front‑desk related activities, including answering phones, assisting callers, checking members into the system, taking prospective members on tours, signing up new members (calculating rates and monthly payment amounts), and assisting the Club Manager with drawer counts. Facilitate updates to member accounts. Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Club Manager when necessary. Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club, completing daily assignments within the first hour of the shift, helping with priority cleaning lists, performing walk‑around and bathroom checks periodically, and supporting special cleaning projects as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Customer‑service background preferred. Basic computer proficiency. Punctuality and reliability are a must. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health. Exceptional customer‑service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional manner with members and co‑workers, exceeding expectations. Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and problem‑solve. Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language. Physical Demands Continual standing and walking during the shift. Continual talking in person or on the phone during the shift. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
