Biomed Program Coordinator

GE HealthCare seeks a Biomed Program Coordinator to manage customer relationships and coordinate biomedical service operations across Brooklyn and Manhattan. The role involves supervising technical personnel, ensuring contract compliance, and maintaining service excellence at assigned hospital sites.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary customer interface and site leader for assigned accounts in Brooklyn and Manhattan areas
Direct daily operations, prioritize service calls, assign personnel, and monitor commitment fulfillment
Maintain service quality through regular customer contact, formal reviews, and technical instruction on equipment
Manage financial performance tracking, expense reporting, and parts inventory in compliance with company policies
Support employee management activities including appraisals, performance feedback, and disciplinary actions

Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent military education; or High School Diploma with additional experience
Minimum 4 years biomedical technician experience with 1 year progressive team leadership supervising technical personnel
Proven customer service and account coordination experience in medical equipment environment
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile device technologies for electronic documentation
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within service region
Legal authorization to work in U.S.; willing to comply with background checks, drug screening, and immunization requirements

Compensation: $96,000-$144,000 annual base, plus performance-based incentive compensation
