Job Description:
Bon Secours - St. Mary's Hospital of Richmond is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician for locum coverage to support during their recruitment period. The coverage dates include various open windows starting from May 8, 2026, with specific weeks planned based on the hospital's needs. The practice involves both office and inpatient care with an average of 27 scheduled patients per day. The provider will work alongside another Maternal Fetal Medicine physician and a nurse practitioner, with support from a sonographer, genetic counselor, and office staff. Key responsibilities include performing amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, managing high-risk pregnancies, and conducting procedures such as cerclage when needed. The practice primarily manages high-risk pregnancies (95%) with some low-risk cases (5%). The environment includes ultrasound imaging and coordinated EMR documentation via EPIC and ViewPoint.
