VCS Project Coordinator

Basic Qualifications: 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling, planning, or program coordination Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and/or Primavera Experience maintaining and analyzing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights Demonstrated experience designing and improving workflows and processes Experience managing and optimizing processes for compliance and performance Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) preferred Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Shape the Future of America’s Skies with Peraton Join Peraton in advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA’s Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) contract. Job Title: Project Coordinator / IMS Scheduling Specialist Location: Herndon, VA or Bowie, MD Position Overview: The Project Coordinator / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Scheduling Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing Integrated Master Schedules to support program execution. This role ensures alignment of project milestones, critical paths, and resource allocation with overall program objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage scheduling tools and data analysis techniques to identify risks, assess performance variances, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
