Job Title: Welder and Fabricator Job Description

We are seeking skilled MIG welders to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role requires individuals who have prior MIG welding experience and the ability to read blueprints, fabricate, and use bandsaws. Successful candidates will work independently to weld and fabricate steel for the construction of frames and components for extended truck beds.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding and fabrication of steel components.

• Read and interpret blueprints for accurate project execution.

• Utilize bandsaws for cutting and shaping metal materials.

• Independently manage welding and fabrication tasks to create truck bed extensions.

Essential Skills

• Proven MIG welding experience.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

• Fabrication skills.

• Ability to operate bandsaws.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic fitting knowledge.

• Strong math skills.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing facility equipped with various workstations, fabrication machinery like press brakes and bandsaws, and dedicated welding stations. The shift runs from 6 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with optional overtime available on some Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
