Cantonese Interpreter

Providing effective telephonic interpretation, the remote Cantonese Interpreter will handle on-demand calls to facilitate communication for the Limited English Proficient community while ensuring superior customer service and adherence to professional standards. Key responsibilities Provide effective telephonic remote interpreting services Answer inbound calls in a timely manner Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct and industry-specific best practices Required qualifications Full fluency in both English and Cantonese Technology proficient in web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word A quiet and secure interpreting space free from outside noises 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred Industry-specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, Bridging the Gap, Cross-Cultural, etc.)
