Operations Maintenance Coordinator – Pulp Mill Valliant, OK, United States Salary Range ($93,400-$124,500) - Multiple factors, including individual experience, skills, and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s short–term incentive plan. Job Description The Operations Maintenance Coordinator (OMC) is responsible for the leadership and coordination of area maintenance activities to meet area goals in Safety, Equipment Reliability, Uptime, 5S, spending, and environmental compliance. The OMC will lead shutdown planning activities from planning through execution and ensure precision maintenance goals are achieved. Responsibilities Safety Leadership MWS execution Physical Plant Improvements Maintenance Budget and Overtime Maintenance Resources Communication of Area Maintenance Plans Weekend call duty. Serve as backup to APM for Daily Report responses - (AOC, Envoy & ParcView Guidelines) After hours duty to resolve issues related to safety, environmental, and production during outages and upset conditions. Qualifications Ability to instill safety as a core value within the team. Interest and ability to be a quick study on mill equipment, systems and processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to groups and individuals. Approach positional responsibilities in an inclusive manner by engaging team members in the area. Strong statistical analysis skills. Strong work ethic. Computer Skills (Microsoft Project, Excel, Word & Minitab). Self-starter, team player, strong coach. Demonstrated leadership skills combined with technical knowledge and experience in pulp and paper manufacturing processes. Excellent written, verbal, presentation and listening skills. Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills. Strong technical knowledge related to the pulp and paper process. Problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to manage and/or lead projects and teams of people. Proven leadership ability in guiding a customer-focused organization to meet its business objectives. Technical education consisting of BS or higher in engineering, pulp and paper technology, or equivalent experience.
