Senior Director, Head of Commercialization Data and AI Delivery

This builder-operator role involves managing a major migration, establishing delivery standards, building internal technical teams, and partnering with enterprise stakeholders across commercial, medical, and market access functions. Requires 15+ years in data engineering or technology delivery with 10+ years leading engineering organizations.
Responsibilities
- Set operating model and standards for Commercialization Data & AI delivery function
- Lead transformation toward stronger internal delivery model from external partnership
- Build and hire senior technical leadership for Platform Engineering and AI/ML & Analytics
- Lead combined US and India-based engineering organization
- Manage transformation pace including hiring sequence, migration milestones, and vendor knowledge transfer
Requirements
- 15+ years data engineering, data platform, or technology delivery experience
- 10+ years people leadership managing engineering or technical organizations
- Led data organization through real technology or platform transition
- Managed external systems integrator or managed-services relationship transition to internal delivery
- Working knowledge of modern cloud data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake
- Experience building and leading distributed engineering teams including offshore centers
- Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field; advanced degree preferred
Compensation: $237,070 - $287,267 base
