Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ECMO Specialist RN to provide circuit management and critical care in a specialized ICU setting. This role requires a seasoned professional with ECMO training and a minimum of two years of related experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor ECMO circuits ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver advanced cardiac and critical care.
• Maintain certified standards including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, along with preferred certifications such as CES-A or E-AEC and LVAD.
• Floated to CICU and CVICU as needed, demonstrating flexibility in high-acuity environments.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and compliance regulations during ECMO procedures.
• Complete necessary documentation and reporting for patient care and circuit management.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of ECMO circuit management experience.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; additional certifications preferred.
• Experience in CVICU or ICU settings with ability to float to related units without performance issues.
• EMR proficiency, specifically with Epic EMR for at least 1 year.
• Ability to work night shifts (4x12-hour shifts) reliably.
• Must reside more than 100 miles from Prisma facilities unless meeting exception criteria.
